Getting started with a workspace, and where to look when something is unclear.
Getting started
1
Create your account and workspace
Sign up, verify your email and create a workspace. Set its time zone and base currency in Settings; the base currency is fixed once cost rates or budgets exist.
2
Invite your team with the right roles
Owners and admins see everything. Project managers run projects and day-to-day costs. Members work on tasks. Finance viewers read figures. Client guests only reach their portal.
3
Add a client and start a project
Start from a blueprint to get milestones, tasks and approval gates in one step, or build the project by hand.
4
Invite the client to the portal
Grant a client guest access to a project. They can send requests, see portal-visible milestones, download shared files and approve deliverable versions.
5
Switch on the pillars you need
Automation, blueprints, ProfitGuard, resources and the command center are each independent. Your operator can switch a pillar off for a workspace without losing data.
Common questions
More
The documentation covers every part of Aquaindy step by step. For anything else, email support@aquaindy.com.
Why does a percentage show a dash?
Its denominator is zero. Aquaindy never invents a percentage; the dash means there is nothing to divide by yet.
Why can a colleague not see a project?
The project is restricted. Only its team members and roles with project management permission see restricted projects.
Why did an approval request become superseded?
A new deliverable version was added. Approvals are pinned to one exact version; the new version needs its own request.
Why is a workflow paused?
Its circuit breaker tripped after repeated failures. Fix the cause (a missing project, a removed member), then publish the rule again.
Why does a cost figure not appear for me?
Cost rates, ledgers and forecasts need the finance permission. Members and client guests never see them.
